Lost and Found
Lost and Found
Original painting medium: Acrylic Paint, Toner on circular cradled wooden panel
35cm diameter unframed
Incorporating original photographic images, this painting on circular cradled panel is created with layers of acrylic paint and makes use of the Image transfer technique.
‘Lost and Found’ is part of the Nowhere series, which comes from a fascination with places that have somehow lost their sense of identity through being redundant or obsolete. They are in a moment of transition from one state to another, neither developed nor wild, or both.
“ I’ve enjoyed photographing and exploring images that previously I might have missed or overlooked in my enthusiasm for dramatic juxtapositions. These moments are all around us should we pay attention to them.”
The size stated is for the artwork only. Hanging attachments are on the reverse.
