Margins 2
Margins 2
Original painting medium: Acrylic Paint, Toner on wooden panel
30 x22.5 cm x 0.5cm framed
Incorporating photographic imagery this wooden panel is created with layers of acrylic paint and makes use of the Image transfer technique.
Part of a series of four compositions all of which are individual experiments in acrylic paint applications and ideas that also work together as a whole.
The margins series focus on places that are in a moment of transition from one state to another, neither developed nor wild, or both. I liken it to the moment where fresh water meets salt water in a river mouth. A battle may ensue, but are both states of being dependant on each others differences in order to shine.
Framed in contemporary grey painted wooden frames, with hanging fittings on back. The size stated is for the artwork only.
