When the opportunity arose to work with a local business social networking group, Seventy9 social, whilst at the same time helping to support a charity close to my heart, Act for wildlife, https://www.actforwildlife.org.uk/ I jumped at it.

I’m lucky enought to live not far away from the world famous Chester Zoo and to some extent being able to see rare and magnificent creatures at the drop of a hat can be taken for granted. But in recent years more and more people have become aware of the groundbreaking conservation work they do across the world. They are raising funds and awareness through the charity Act for Wildlife. Alongside highlighting particular issues such as the harm unsustainable palm oil has on the population of south east asian Orangutangs.

In more recent times also the fabulous Oakfield Manor, the home of the founders of the Zoo, has been brought back to its former glory and maybe a bit more and was the venue for a very special christmas event promoting small businesses and act for wildlife.

I had the honor of displaying my artwork in these very grand surroundings and nurturing some interesting collaborative relationships for the future.
